AND I FEEL FINE / Y ME SIENTO BIEN

"And I Feel Fine / Y Me Siento Bien" is a series of hand-embroidered paintings of images of people crossing the US-Mexico border juxtaposed with people after mass shootings. Each mixed media artwork takes four to six months to produce. I began making this series in 2019 and am currently - as of early 2023 - on the fifth painting in the series.
